They allow you a snapshot of your subconscious and thus, a chance to further understand yourself, your situation and what steps you might take to get where you’re trying to go.

Tarot reading has a checkered reputation and unfortunately there are some less than savoury readers out there.  But that doesn’t mean the cards are frauds.  Tarot cards are legitimate tools for learning more about yourself and the world around you.  If you and your reader use them as such, they can offer you genuine insight and direction.  If you’re serious when you consult them, they’ll give you a serious answer.  And they’re very good advisors.

The Tarot doesn’t tell you your future – it’s up to you to make that.  However, it can help you see where you are now and how you got there.  That’s certainly the first step to figuring out what’s next.  The cards help you recognize your patterns and offer practical suggestions towards realizing your objectives.  And if it’s lack of a clear objective that’s at issue, the cards can help you define your goals as well as set you on a path towards achieving them.  One way or another, the Tarot helps you figure yourself out.  Not to mention, tarot cards are really fun.  Don’t be afraid to play.

Georgianna and the Tarot

My work as a tarot reader includes one-on-one readings in person and on the phone.  I also regularly read at home parties and corporate events and do Tarot Coaching for individuals and small groups. I've illustrated Georgie's Deck and am presently in collaboration with Los Angeles illustrator, Ivan Minsloff, in the creation of a really exciting new one. Stay tuned for more on that.

I read at various charity events and do talks on Tarot for interested groups. Occasionally, you might find me at a psychic fair (I organized Psychic Sundays at the Gladstone, and worked with Psychics for Charity for two years).

My non-tarot background is in political science and philosophy.  I received my Masters degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto.  I’ve also spent many years working in the theatre and music industries in Toronto, Los Angeles and New York.
